SAVE THE DATES!!

You're invited to the 2005 Grassroots Symposium!

Communications is our theme for 2005. What better way to communicate with fellow advocates than at the 2005 Freshwater Future Grassroots Symposium? The symposium provides the perfect opportunity to meet fellow Basin advocates, be inspired by a keynote speaker, hone your communication skills, and enjoy a historic location close to the Black River and Lake Erie!

2004 attendees had this to say about the first annual Freshwater Future Grassroots Symposium:

"Absolutely terrific two days. Thank you so much for doing this and including me!"

"It was great to connect with so many fellow activists."

"Excellent in all ways. I learned so much and realize how much more I need to learn and to become more involved. The personal stories were inspiring."

This year's symposium will be held on October 14 & 15, 2005 at Fountain Inn in Lakeside, Ohio on Lake Erie.

The second annual symposium for Freshwater Future grantees and other grassroots advocates will focus on communication skills development, and recharging ourselves for our work. Meetings will include a grassroots grantee panel, a keynote speaker, skills workshops, networking, good food, and opportunities to learn from other advocates doing similar work.

Lodging, Meals, and Registration costs are ONLY $100 per person. Travel scholarships and some registration scholarships are available.
