Site Specific Remediation Alternatives and Independent Technical and Regulatory Review to Defeat the Alba Injection Well
Spring Project Grant Award: $1500
Spring TA Grant Award: $3500
Project Summary:

Friends of the Jordan River Watershed are spearheading an independent technical and regulatory review of the Bay Harbor CERCLA site. The study will advance questions about unexamined contamination areas, poorly understood contamination migration pathways, potential contaminants and realistic remediation timetables. From the comprehensive analysis, preferred remediation alternatives for specific Bay Harbor locations will be identified and justified. This will allow the public and regional authorities to inform the ultimate remediation of the site and to defeat the proposed Alba Industrial Waste Injection Well.
